Soushoku Danshi 草食男子

Soushoku Danshi (Vegetarian Boys) are not literally Vegetarian. They are just not active in dating or in pursuit of girls. So they are not hunters. This is why they are called vegetarian. They are of course interested in those things, but they think it is better to spend money and time doing their own business than working hard to get a girl’s attention.Below are some characteristic of Soushoku Danshi:

  1. They respect women equally as men. (True)
  2. They spend more time with their male friends and families. (But I have more female friends than male i suppose)
  3. Have very fragile hearts and fear to be hurt, also afraid of hurting others. (Maybe)
  4. Their energy goes to their hobby, work and fashion instead of going on dates. (True)
  5. They travel or go shopping if girls ask them to go, but their relationships are hard to develop into love. (Maybe)
  6. They think sex culture is just a waste of time, and don’t spend their money for it. (Not when you're horny)
  7. Girls usually think of them as a good person, but don’t consider them as boyfriends. (What's your say?)
  8. Nothing would happen if girls spend the night with them. (Maybe?)
  9. They like staying at home more than going out. (When I'm loaded, I just feel like going out 7days a week)
  10. They love sweets and cooking. (I prefer cooking though)

Conclusion: Am I a Soushoku Danshi?
